- Each cell belongs to a cage, denoted by dotted lines.
- Ensure that the cells within each cage sum up precisely to the value in the upper left corner of the cage.
- The sum of all numbers within every 3x3 region, row, or column always equates to 45.
- Duplicate numbers are prohibited within cages, as well as within individual rows, columns, or 3x3 regions.
